Baby Splash
From Birth to 6 years
Gentle, fun and progressive swimming lessons designed to build water confidence, water safety skills and independence from the very beginning.
Our carefully structured Baby Splash programme uses play, songs, word association and lots of fun to help babies and young children feel happy and confident in the water. Children progress through our programme as their confidence and ability develops.
Splash Academy
Ages 4 - 12 years
Fun, progressive swimming lessons for children following the Swim England curriculum.
Children work through recognised swimming stages, developing technique, stamina, water safety and confidence while earning distance, skill and stage badges along the way.
Maximum of just 6 swimmers per class.
Small Classes. Big Progress.
Smaller classes mean more swimming, more individual attention and less time waiting for a turn.
Splash Academy classes have a maximum of just 6 children, giving our instructors more opportunity to watch each swimmer, correct technique and provide individual feedback throughout the lesson.
It also means children spend more time actively swimming and learning – rather than sitting poolside waiting for their turn.
For nervous or beginner swimmers, a smaller group can provide a calmer, less overwhelming environment and help them build a stronger relationship with their teacher.

15+ Years of Helping Little Swimmers Grow
Baby Splash was founded by Harriet in 2010 with a simple aim: to provide high-quality, affordable swimming lessons where children could learn to love and respect the water.
What began as a specialist baby swimming school has grown into Baby Splash + Splash Academy, allowing us to support children throughout their swimming journey – from their first experiences in the water right through to becoming confident, capable independent swimmers.
Harriet is a fully qualified swimming teacher and former competitive swimmer, and our experienced instructors are passionate about helping every child progress.
Now we're delighted to be bringing that experience back to Reading.
